This agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and bretep, llc, a Nevada limited liability company ("we", "us"). They apply to the 0xStealth desktop app, the iPhone and Android apps, the browser extension, our sync and price services, and the 0xStealth Pro subscription. By using any of them you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use them.

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, and at least 18 to buy Pro.

What 0xStealth is

0xStealth is software. The desktop app is a wallet that keeps your recovery phrase offline and signs only what you approve. The phone and browser apps show your addresses, talk to public blockchain networks, and ask the desktop app to sign, or sign with Travel Keys you allow.

0xStealth is non-custodial. We never hold your funds or your recovery phrase, and we can't move, freeze, reverse or recover them. Our server never holds your keys, except Travel Keys you choose to share, locked with a travel password we never get. We are not a bank, an exchange, a broker or a money transmitter.

Your keys are yours, and so is the risk

• You are responsible for your recovery phrase, your passphrase, your travel password, your sync key and the devices you use. Keep them safe and backed up.
• We never see them and can't reset or recover them. If you lose your recovery phrase, nobody can restore your wallet, including us.
• Anyone with your recovery phrase can take your funds. We will never ask you for it.
• Your sync key gives access to your synced data and your Pro subscription. Share it only with your own devices.

Transactions are final

Each request is shown to you in plain words before you approve it. Once you sign and a transaction is broadcast, the network decides what happens, and it can't be undone. Network fees are set by the network and paid to it, not to us. Check each request before you approve it, especially from a site you don't know.

No financial advice

Nothing in the apps or on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Prices and balances come from public sources and may be late or wrong. Digital assets are volatile and you can lose money. Decide for yourself, and get your own advice where you need it.

The 0xStealth Pro subscription

The apps are free to use. 0xStealth Pro adds encrypted sync across your devices, automatic backup, Bluetooth on your phone, Travel Keys on your phone or browser, the passphrase keypad and curated token lists. One subscription works on every device that uses the same sync key.

• Price and length. Pro is billed monthly or yearly. The price, in your currency, is shown before you buy.
• Payment. On iPhone, payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. On Android, it is charged to your Google Play account. When you buy from the browser extension on this site, it is charged to the card you enter at checkout.
• Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Price changes. If the price changes, you are told in advance as your store's rules require, and you can cancel before it applies.
• Free trials. If an offer includes a free trial, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
• Features can change. We may add, change or retire Pro features. If we take away something central to Pro, you can cancel, and we'll help with a refund where the store allows one.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then stops renewing. Deleting the app doesn't cancel the subscription.

Refunds

Purchases on iPhone are refunded by Apple, and purchases on Android by Google, under their policies. We can't refund them ourselves. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Google from your order history in Google Play. For a purchase made on this site, write to us. Nothing here limits a right to a refund that your local law gives you.

Using the service

Don't use 0xStealth to break the law, including sanctions and export laws, and don't use it if you are in a country or on a list those laws bar. Don't attack, overload or probe our servers, get around the Pro check, or use our services to harm others. We may limit or stop service to a sync key that breaks these terms.

We work to keep the sync and price services running, but they may sometimes be down. The desktop app doesn't need them to sign.

Other services

The apps connect you to things we don't run: blockchain networks and the nodes that serve them, the sites you open, app stores, payment providers, and the services listed in the privacy policy. They have their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them, for the tokens or contracts you deal with, or for what a site asks you to sign.

License

The desktop app is open source under the MIT license, published at github.com/bretep/0xstealth, and that license governs its code. The phone apps, the browser extension and our services are not open source. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them under these terms. The name 0xStealth and its logo are ours.

No warranty

The apps and services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise that they will be error-free, secure or always available.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, bretep, llc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost funds, lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of 0xStealth. That includes loss caused by a lost recovery phrase or device, a transaction you approved, a network or a third-party site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Apple and Google

These terms are between you and bretep, llc, not Apple or Google. We, not they, are responsible for the apps and their support. If an app fails to meet a warranty that applies, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund what you paid for it; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for claims about the apps, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use must also follow the App Store or Google Play terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in Clark County, Nevada, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to bring it where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and for a material change we'll also say so in the apps. If you keep using 0xStealth after a change, the new terms apply.
